Club Dance Holidays and Ceroc offer a wide range of activities, excursions and additions to enhance your Medfest experience. Some are included in your price and some carry a small additional supplement. All excursions can be booked prior to travelling or at the event, however many are limited numbers, so we encourage early booking to avoid disappointment.
We are currently working on the options for 2023, but you can find excursion options that have been available in the past to get an idea of what maybe on offer. Once the excursions for 2023 have been confirmed we will have all the details here.
You will find daily activities available almost everyday by the pool at the Diamante Hotel, including but not limited to morning yoga sessions, (also take place on the beach) giant Jenga tournaments, inflatable pool parties, with dancing in and out of the pool 😉

Taste of Spain
This excursion starts with takig in a bit of Spanish Heritage in the ancient town of Benissa. Benissa is a small and perfectly preserved Spanish town with its whitewashed houses and cobbled streets that remain unchanged by time. The gem in Benissa´s crown is the church so large that the locals call it the “Cathedral of the Costa Blanca” and there is a fully functional monastery, and the monks who live there welcome you to enter and have a look around. Next we will head for a spot of wine tasting and to do this we head inland to the Jalon Valley where we will visit the cooperative winery of Jalon. This region is famous for its muscatel wine, which is sweet and usually drank as a desert wine or to aid digestion. The region is also producer of outstanding quality red, rose & white table wines. Whilst in Jalon you will have free time to enjoy lunch (not included). Our next stop of the day is at the ancient caves of Benidoleig that were discovered in 1768 and steeped in history. Our last stop of the day will take us to the cosmopolitan coastal town of Moraira where you will have free time to enjoy your surroundings before heading back to the Hotel Diamante. |
Valencia City - The city of Arts and Science
Valencia is the Costa Blanca’s capital city and is steeped in history, being founded by the Romans in 138BC. Today Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and has in the past been the official capital of Spain in 1812 under the rule of José 1 and again between 1396 / 37 during the second Spanish Republic. When in Valencia, you will have free time to spend as you please. You can take the City bus tour (optional extra) and enjoy a narrated tour of the city, its points of interest and beautiful architecture. You can also choose to visit the home of the Valencian football team at the “Mestalla Stadium” where you will enjoy a guided tour of one of the largest and the 2nd oldest stadiums in Spain (optional extra). In the afternoon, we will make a short stop at the stunning city of arts and science which is without doubt, one of the most stunning complexes in Europe. |
Algar Waterfalls
The waterfalls of Algar are one of the most visited natural areas in Spain. The falls are set on various levels, each one offering a different experience. From turbulent pools and diving points to relaxing lagoons and streams, the falls have something to suit all and the ice cold mountain water gives welcome relief from the blistering afternoon sun. This is a fantastic half day out that will show you the beautiful countryside of the Costa Blanca. Bring your bathers, towel, snacks and refreshments for the afternoon. |
Benidorm Palace
No visit to the Costa Blanca would be complete without a visit to the world famous Benidorm Palace. Have a night to remember with dance, music, magic and laughter rolled into one fantastic show. Benidorm Palace has produced some of the best shows in Europe, and provided the venue and its over 1,500 seats for the celebration of the Miss Spain Contest, the European Arts Forum, and plenty of other different conferences and concerts. This is an emblematic and award-winning venue of the Mediterranean coast, which has welcomed internationally renowned artists of the height of Julio Iglesias, Rudolf Nureyev, Lola Flores, Alejandro Sanz, and many more. Your ticket will cover entry ticket, transport there and back with optional extras to book a meal for during the show. |

Enjoy a birds eye view
The prominent Penon de Ifach stands proudly at 332m at the head of Calpe, surrounded by the glistening blue of the Mediterranean Sea. Climbing to the top can be an advantageous and worthwhile experience and if you feel up to the task, we highly recommend it if only to experience the wonderful views that are on offer.
Come and see Carl at the 'dance desk' in reception of the Diamante Hotel for any tips, or to join him on one of the groups he escorts up there a few times during the week. |
